New Head Cheerleading Coach Hired

Duchesne is proud to welcome Sara (Schenk) Bonner '20 as the new Head Cheerleading Coach.

Bonner graduated from Duchesne in 2020. During her time in high school, she was very involved in Film Club, Key Club, JV Soccer, Varsity Golf, and Varsity Cheer. She joined cheerleading her sophomore year and fell in love with the sport and the team.

During her time at Duchesne, her team won two 3rd place trophies at competition and a 2nd place trophy her senior year as a captain.

After graduation, Bonner attended St. Charles Community College. She is now working on building a family and beginning a career in pharmacy.

Bonner is married to her husband Amos, who is currently serving overseas in the U.S. Army. They have a beautiful daughter named Audrey and an adorable cat named Diddums. She loves spending time with her family and baking in her free time.

"I am super excited to be experiencing this [DHS Cheerleading] team from the coaching staff's point of view," said Bonner.
