Installing a Pioneer President

September 12 was the Mass and Installation Ceremony for new Duchesne president, Paul Boschert ’77.

The ceremony consisted of a special blessing led by Father Chris Holtmann and remarks delivered by classmate and DHS board member Mike Ryan ’77.

“I was pleased and honored to be asked to speak about Paul Boschert at the All-School Installation Mass for our new president,” said Ryan. “He is a consummate professional and brings a wealth of tremendous experience and quality leadership to his new position. Paul Boschert’s efforts and all of the other positive activities at Duchesne make me extremely excited about our current trajectory and the bright future ahead for our school!”

After the speech, Mr. Boschert was presented with a desk clock engraved with his name and title to commemorate the event.

Duchesne students, faculty and staff, and members of the greater Pioneer community were in attendance that day.

“Making the day even more special was seeing some of my classmates in attendance and having the opportunity to share the moment with my family, which included several Pioneer alums,” said Boschert.  “I am truly blessed to serve my alma mater in my new role as President.”

Mr. Boschert was named president this past summer.
